You should check out Geoff's (Yakezie member) site and tool to help find the best prices for a car.

 

It's actually really cool; you put in some relevant info about what you want to buy, and how you want to buy it and it spits out a personalized guide.

@JT- Thanks for the reference!

 

@Super Frugaltte- My advice: apply for a few auto loans within a short period of time (so credit bureaus see it as only one inquiry) and try your credit union, bank, or any other online services (there's a few listed on my site).  Once you think you have a pre-approval with a decent rate, take that with you to buy a car and see if the dealer will beat it.   Feel free to drop me a line anytime with any questions.
