I will not give my opinion either way on the healthcare reform— just because the fights get so darned ugly, and especially this year with the election it's going to get really bad. 

I did want to mention something along the lines of what KC talked about in his post. I live in northeast Ohio, home of the Cleveland Clinic–and they have been systemically MAKING their employees be healthier. They started several years ago with smoking— if you smoked, you could not work there. Now, they are working on slimming everybody down. Yes, it is having an effect on their healthcare costs–the "healthiest" group pays the lowest premiums.
