I'm there!  I teach online college courses for the University of Phoenix, and it does not pay nearly as much as I could make as a CPA.  But I will do it for as long as they'll have me because I love teaching those who are trying to better themselves. Many of my students are older than me; some have grown children and are now focusing on themselves, others got a late start on college due to having children at a young age, and the list goes on. I like that my work has meaning, beyond getting paid to crunch numbers just so they can be put on a form to send to the IRS. 

When my children get older, I plan on teaching classes in person either as adjunct faculty at a local university or at the community college down the road.
