Here we go again…
http://www.forbes.com/sites/ha…..-bill-pay/
If you are a Verizon customer and pay online or by phone, get ready for a 2 dollar 'convenience' fee beginning in Jan.
I will probably switch to e bill pay with my bank for this bill.
Their goal is to get all of their customers switched to the auto-pay feature.

Crazy! So they are charging the fee even for paying via ACH from your checking account? Or, is it just for credit card payments?
I'll have to get my dad to switch to this – he is with Verizon.

Boost mobile does that too. It's annoying but who wants to go pay it at the store or post mail it? I guess it's a little inconvenience for the convenience.

Ridiculous. I've seen some comments from consumers who pay online now but will start mailing it in since it costs Verizon more that way.

Yeesh. That is a PIA. Usually you pay fees if you want paper billing not the reverse. I guess it is just another way to try to make money.

Looks like Verizon pulled a faster flip flop than BoA and decided against it. For some reason "I want my 2 dollars" popped in my head.
