Hi all,
I thought I saw this before, but I can't find it. Was there a discussion before on how you classify your blog income? Sole Proprietorship, LLC, S Corp, Corp?

I am currently a Sole Prop but plan to file LLC paperwork on January 1 so I have a clean break (for taxes) turning my blog into an official business.

KNS Financial, LLC handles everything related to the blog. I actually formed the LLC for my offline tax preparation business, but the blog quickly grew to be more than a hobby.

Currently sole proprietor but planning to move to LLC soon. It seems to be the most appropriate structure for what I'm doing with the blog business.

After about a year, I made the transition from sole proprietorship to LLC. I even made the move in the middle of the year with no issues.

I plan to do the exact same thing as Eric, just to have a clean plate for next year.
