Hey,
Now here's a question for all you eBook people or those with more tech acumen than I (which is most of you)…
I'm writing an eBook and want to link it to a glossary page on my website. Would anyone have a recommendation for a WP glossary that accepts external clicks?
I was thinking of setting up individual posts for each word, but that seems ridiculous… agree?
Thanks,
~ Doctor Stock

I'm a little confused by what you are asking. Are you asking if you can have a link in your ebook that points to a specific part of a page on your site? That's pretty easy with anchor text.

I'm looking for editors, beta-readers, and some demographic research for my upcoming novel, Once Upon a Saturn Moon. If you like reading soft sci-fi thrillers, maybe with a touch of romance thrown in, you can find more information at http://seampublishing.com/once…..aturn-moon

Thanks Edward for the Reply,
I'm looking to create a dictionary/glossary on my new website… then, link text from my eBook to it directly so as readers come across a term they'd like to know more about, they click it and it sends them to my webpage dictionary.
I can create individual posts under a "glossary" page, but I thought this doesn't make sense and really messes with my posts being sent out via RSS, etc.
Ideas?
Thanks,

Is anyone using a dictionary / glossary on their site and able to share their tips/tricks?

Sorry, I hadn't had the chance to get back to this in a couple days. Instead of publishing a "post", publish a "page" they don't get sent out via RSS, can have commenting and other features of your posts turned off, and don't even need to be included in your site's navigation in any way if you don't want to. Between my sites, I have plenty of pages between my three sites that would have made no sense to publish in the traditional post method.

Thanks…
I found WPGlossary which seems to work well. It sets up a page, allows you to link words to that glossary page, etc. The advantage so far has been you can then sort that page using the shortcodes.
I just finished my first e-book… which used this glossary page. We'll see what the readers think.
Cheers,
