There are tons of blogging conferences, and expos that I always seem to miss out on. I'm starting this so that I can help spread the word about conferences I hear about, and so others can share here too.
The one I am spreading right now is a book tour in SLC, Utah on October 19th, 2010.
The book is by Scott Stratten, and the tour is called the UNBook tour, for his new book UnMarketing. The guy is an unconventional (social) marketing guru, and will be doing a presentation, book signing, followed by dinner, followed by a karaoke bar session.You can buy tickets via the link belowe:

If there is ever one in Texas, I'm game! I'm also going to see if I'll have vacation days left next year to pop up at one elsewhere. :-)

Glad this helps. I'm really excited about this book tour and plan to make it an adventure as I don't have a buddy to go with..gotta push that comfort zone! But I'd love to hear of other events too, so keep this alive!

There's one in Austin later this month. It's sold out but often people resell their tickets because something comes up. The best part is that it's on a Saturday.

I am in Chicago area, so I am sure there are conferences all the time here. I need to get out and check the lay of the land. If I am going to be a blogger, then I need to get involved with the community!

Thanks! I'll already be out of town for my husband's family reunion on the 23rd, BUT I will definitely keep my eyes out for it next year! Austin is a great location for it and I've been to that hotel before – nice! If anybody else from Texas is going from the Yakezie, please let me know next year – maybe we can split a room or something since there is no way I could convince my husband that this would be fun, lol. :-)

Great idea! The other day I was thinking that it would be nice to know what is happening and where and maybe one day I could attend.
