Hey everyone
In May, Pat Flynn of Smart Passive Income posted a contest on his site for his readers to create "a report, document, white paper, manifesto or mini-eBook about anything related to your industry, niche, website or business." Of his nearly 20,000 readers at the time, only 20 responded in creating something.
I took the challenge and created "The Newlywed's Guide to Budgeting" and we are featured on SPI today as the winner of a $100 Amazon gift card. I'm pretty honored as Pat personally selected my eBook among everyone else to win :)

Pat has almost 30,000 readers and has challenged them to write a true story that teaches something to your audience. Read more about the challenge here.
Anyways, just wanted to encourage you guys, especially the newer bloggers. You CAN get the attention of the 'big blogs' and I hope you jump on this challenge :)

Congrats! I saw that you won when I was reading Pat's post yesterday. I was surprised only 20 people entered. There must have been lots of people like me that had planned to enter but kept putting it off.
I will do the next challenge. It is a lot easier to do.

It's still crazy to think that only 20 submissions were a part of it – goes to show that your chances of winning anything are 0% if you never attempt!
