Thought I'd share a really great "google resource." Although my wordpress blog lists incoming links, it doesn't seem to catch them all. I subscribe to "google alerts" for my blog name (as well as a few other related topics). That way, any time my site is mentioned, I can find out about it. I get them weekly, but you can subscribe more frequently if you'd like.
It's also great for setting up "alert price targets" for any investment assets. i.e. high and low prices.

I love using Google Alerts! It seems that if someone links to your homepage, WP doesn't catch it – so I use it to see if anyone even mentions me (not just with a link).

Google alerts is great.
For links that have gone up previously, there's always the link:www.yourdomain.com in Google and Yahoo, and of course Google Webmaster Tools. Yahoo only shows 1000 links.

I use Google Alerts, and love it as well. I also have an alert for my name on google as well. I wish there was a better way to know about keyword links as well!

Thanks – I didn't know about this! Is it as easy as entering my blog's URL?

Actually, you just enter the terms that you want to be alerted about…such as, "Budgeting in the Fun Stuff" and "Budgeting Fun Stuff", etc. If you enter the terms within quotes, it will only search for that term as a unit, if you don't use quotes it will look for those words to appear anywhere on the page in any order.

Thanks Barb!
I've been having a lot of problem with figuring out links to my site.
Hopefully this will help.

This is an awesome tip!
I have been a part of the Yakezie Challenge for just 10 days and I have already learned so much. Thanks to all. I was skeptical at first but all sketicism is now gone. My ranking has gone from 4,8000,000+ to 1,200,000+ in just 10 days! If I can keep growing at this pace I will easily make the 200,000 goal. I couldn't have come this far without all the great things I am learning here, though, so thank you all!
