I have been on this forum for about a month under savingadvice (for some reason I got myself locked out of that account and haven't been able to get a new password resent, so I decided that I would simply create another account). I doubt that most of you know who I am (except perhaps for a few of the old, old-timers) so I thought I would do a formal introduction.

My name is Jeffrey Strain and I run a number of blogs and websites most of which are very small niche. I have decided to take the Yakezie challenge for a new blog I started a couple of months ago and I'm also going to do it with my main blog. I will be making it official this week with an announcement (would love to know your blogs's best post for it). A little bit about myself:

1. I am a professional blogger

2. I have been a digital nomad for about 2 years

3. At one time, I was a humor card writer for Hallmark

4. I lived 15 years in Japan

5. I have eaten on less than $1 a day for 100 days (on purpose and fairly well)

6. I have been able to donate more than $20,000 worth of food (thus far) to local food banks from a penny I found on the ground.

7.  My current goal is to travel to all 396 parks which are part of the US National Park system.

8. At one time I did have a metallic blue Mohawk

9. The best move I ever made was to stop watching TV

10. Although rather embarrassing, I write the most popular Hello Kitty blog on the Internet

I'm not sure that introduction actually paints me in too good a light, but I hope it does show that I try to live life to the fullest. I look forward to meeting all of you and am sure that we will all have the opportunity to help each other out.

Welcome to the challenge.  I used to read your PF Advice blog way back in 2005 when I first started reading personal finance blogs.

I like this one most

6. I have been able to donate more than $20,000 worth of food (thus far) to local food banks from a penny I found on the ground.

Awesome. I often find pennies and never picked one up, except picking one for my logo and blog banner. Welcome. We interacted once for a guest post exchange on SavingAdvice.

Glad to see you here again, hope you get regular time to post in the forums too.

heh – I would rather not share the Hello Kitty blog — not one of my proudest blogs out there ;)

I did write about eating on a dollar a day while I was doing it:
