I just want some imput from you guys. Are you optimistic or pessimistic? Which do you think is better.

I prefer to be optimistic but cautious/prepared. Being pessimistic takes a lot of energy, negative energy. It's just good to be prepared.

Thanks for the input. Being a little more optimistic is something I've been told to work on.

Although I see myself as an optimist, I am also a realist.

Hey, great post! Although I don't completely agree with it, being optimistic does make life a whole lot easier. Anyone else want to share?

Pessimism is quite a negative attitude and it can stop you doing things you would enjoy, however total optimism can make you unprepared for failure. I would have to go for optimistic with a dose of reality

Contrarian.

The difficult thing is deciding what to do when people are indifferent.  I tend to just match them, in that case.

I'm all about the optimism baby!  Life sucks enough as it is- it's a good idea to fight back with a little hopefulness!

I lean toward being a bit cynical.  But I get happily surprised from time to time which makes it OK in the end :)
