Good to be aboard,
My name is Ralph and just joined the challenge. I am launching my first blog thefrugalhabit.com. My wife and I were married two years ago and we decided to work together to get our finances in order to allow us the freedom to live life on our terms.
We paid off her car within the next couple of months and made the decision to move south and live closer to my mom who is in her seventies and in poor health. Selfishly we both dreamed to live in a beach town where the sunsets rule.
My twenty plus years in special forces taught me that our habits of thought and behaviors are the key to achieving any goal or mission.
I am starting my blog to share my experiences of applying consistent daily habits to finances so we can live our dream.
My wife is the perfect partner in crime, she is supportive and my biggest fan (currently my only subscriber). She is English born and raised (accent and all). She has worked as a journalist for the BBC, a dog trainer and world traveler.
I am proud to be a new member of the community and look forward to earning the respect of all members.

Hi Ralph.
Welcome aboard!
I'm Graham from moneystepper.com and am too fairly new to Yakezie, but I'm sure you'll get loads out of it as I have.
Good luck with the challenge – what's your Alexa number goal?

Hi Guys-
My name is Liz and I blog at http://Budgetingformore.com
I joined the challenge TODAY {January 4, 2014} and my Alexa score 703,628!
I started this blog to pursue my passion of writing and personal finance. I started out studying journalism in college as this was my passion however, the recession was in full swing and I got scared. I didn't think I could find a good job in journalism and was craving stability. So I doubled in accounting as this seemed to have much better job prospects and pursued that career after college. I now work at a large publicly traded company as a tax accountant. I don't regret this choice necessarily, but I do feel that writing is my passion.
Hubby and I graduated from school with a lot of student loan debt. We are working really hard to pay down these loans so that we can move on to the next exciting chapter of our lives- starting a family : ) I will be blogging about the financial decisions we are making in our mid-twenties and our journey towards debt freedom. Seems like there is so much to learn and so many choices to make. I am learning about frugal living habits and am an avid crocheter/crafter.
I'm really excited to be joining the Yakezie challenge :)
