That's great! Just finished reading it–too bad they don't make those links to your own posts  . I know what you mean about writing AP style, my writing is quite far from what they would be looking for, and it would be pretty difficult to adapt I would think.

Some answers.
This is an unpaid position, but I think it will be great for exposure and link juice. It's a great opportunity to get my name out there.
Yes, they just found me. Retirement is a pretty narrow niche in personal finance blogs and Retire by 40 shows up pretty early in Google search thanks to Yakezie and everyone here. Many retirement blogs on Google search do not update regularly so I guess following the Yakezie guideline got me there. (3-4 posts a week, active in community, being helpful, etc…)
