Another month has gone by, and what a month it has been! My traffic literally exploded (more than quadrupled)!

http://www.investorzblog.com/m…..gust-2011/

Also, I recently wrote a great post titled "Warren Buffett – The Greatest PR Machine in American History". You might want to check it out. :)

So how did your blog do for August? Please do not divulge details. Did your earnings increase? Did your traffic increase?

read the post, interesting explosion! I f you wrote only one article as staff writer, then you shouldn't have reveals the income as it gives out your staff writing rate.

Over the weekend I will analyse GA to see if I had any explosion or not.

BTW which news site allowed you to comment with your blog link?

Just read your post…your traffic was massive, im truly impressed.

As far as not showing your income, I wouldnt be too concerned with divulging your staff writing rate, while I know some are secretive about this, I would say most people are within a few dollars of each other… I mean after all, if someone is interested in you writing for them they are going to ask your rate and you will end up telling them then.

However, I would be more careful with divulging your other revenue…it's pretty easy to see where it comes from on a blog when you visibily have few sources that it couldve come from…especially since I dont see adsense on your blog.

Congrats on the growth Tony. This is great. And yes, listen to MITR suggestions. They are good ones.

Business Insider (businessinsider.com) Their comments community is crazy. The popular posts have hundreds of comments, and most posts have like 20-30 comments. You should definitely try it out.

I don't really mind if people see who's advertising on my site, and how much they're paying. I really like blogging for engaging with comments. Money is just a side thought. That's the mentality that Pat Flynn drilled into me.

Sounds like the right attitude to me. Keep it up.

Just read and commented. Great job building the traffic. Don't worry, you will be able to slow down on commenting soon but for now it is good to do consistently.
