Hi all,
I a new challenger here on Yakezie, I'm glad I found the site and I'm looking forward to connecting with the group. I'm not new to blogging but my site is new Your Money Mentor. I first started to blog in 2010, for my business site. I preferred to start a new site because I would like to add more of my personality to the site. My business site has my business information etc. So I'm always cautious of what I'm blogging about.
Regarding my alexa stats, the widget is installed but i do not have a rank yet? Maybe because the site is new, if any one can shed some light on how i can get a ranking that will be great. I never used ranking for biz site, because my goal was not to measure traffic, etc. So alexa is new to me. I'm not afraid of a challenge so I'm looking forward to getting busy and making the goal of 200,000 in six month.

Many people don't have ranks when they first start out – some don't have ranks even when they have been blogging for awhile (though that's more rare). You'll get a rank soon and as you stay active on Yakezie and comment on other people's blogs and network, you're rank will drop quickly!

Hi Lorillia, Welcome to the challenge!
The Alexa rankings can happen pretty quickly. I joined on Saturday with no rank, Sunday a rank number appeared and today it dropped quite a bit.

Lorilla, I started out at 20 million on 2/9
on 2/12 i was down to 2.9 million and today i am down to 2.6 million it drops really fast!

Yes don't worry about having no Alexa rank yet. They just haven't detected enough toolbar visitors for your site yet. After people check out your blog via this thread, it is bound to show up very soon. Then it will keep dropping the more active you are on here and on other blogs. You should also consider integrating social sharing into your blog to get more exposure.

Welcome to the challenge! The support here has been amazing for me, I started a completely new blog about 3 1/2 weeks ago. I started as the leaset popular site on the internet, at least according to Alexa. It takes a few days, then boom, there are only 7 million more popular web sites in the world! And it gets better from there. :)

Lorilla, I started my blog a week ago and it took 2-3 days to pop up on Alexa. It started off in the 8 million range, but is at 2.9 illion today. It goes down quick if you stay engaged. Look at my site let me know what you think.

Welcome to the challenge.
Like most others said, i wouldn't worry too much about the Alexa ranking. Takes a few days for the initial numbr to show up and it comes down pretty quickly when you're active in the community.\
