Avengers had better be incredibly bind-blowing-ly awesome. The last few Marvel movies have spent way too much time preparing for the Avengers (I'm talking about you, Iron Man 2 and Thor!)

I'm looking for editors, beta-readers, and some demographic research for my upcoming novel, Once Upon a Saturn Moon. If you like reading soft sci-fi thrillers, maybe with a touch of romance thrown in, you can find more information at http://seampublishing.com/once…..aturn-moon

They certainly did a good job with the marketing behind this movie. Interesting how they picked Star Wars day to release it in North America Confused

I'm not sure "excited" is the best word to describe the anticipation I have to see the Avengers movie! Marvel movies seem to be hit and miss. For example- although I think the recent Ghost Rider movie had great effects- the story was HORRIBLE! It was even worse than the first Rider movie.

So if they screw up the Avengers…I'm going to be one extremely unhappy Geek!

I'm a huge comic geek, so most of these movies leave me a little less than enthused.  Most of them deviate significantly from the comics, and I end up focusing on that stuff too much.  The effects are downright amazing on the newer ones.

That being said, although I am more of a Marvel fan, the Batman series with Christian Bale has been the absolute best of any franchise ever so far, and DC has some really great animated movies too.

The new Spider-Man movie looks pretty interesting too. You can tell they tried to target a younger audience but I like these movies for the action and effects as well.
