Welcome!
I'm a bit confused now. Did two Canadian blogs with almost the same name join on the same day? (Freedom 48 and Freedom 35)?

Hey – I noticed that too! What are the odds?!?!
Definitely not related…. although freedom 35 sounds more appealing than freedom 48! =)

I really like your blog so far and I love your premise. My husband is in the Navy and he will retire at 38. It's not true retirement, but our home slogan is "Won't it be great to retire at thirty-eight." It would work for you guys too.

Hi Niki!
My husband was in the navy as well–only six years though. I met him on Japan where he was stationed for three years. where have you guys been stationed?

If there's one thing that gets all the canucks out is another Canadian PF blog! Congrats on the new challenge, you'll see all types of improvement in rapid order. (BTW, I'm not Canadian, but I am Canadian adjacent)

Welcome! I just started the challenge too and I'm in worse shape than you – I'm started at 6,927,846! It's only been 2 days and I'm already down to 3,934,055 so I have high hopes! Checked out your blog – it looks great!
