Owner/Founder is what I use in my email signature but I haven't given it too much thought.

Either "Conflict Engagement Specialist" or "Conflict Jedi"

The blog is an extension of the work I do.

I don't usually need to have a title but you can customize your title depending on what situation you are using it for and what image you want to project.

Never thought about it. I guess I'm the Owner/Writer, though Mrs. iHB writes as well.

Sorry, Buck, never though about this one – I am just getting around to the idea that I appear to be 'a proper blogger'. Toying with 'Goddess and Mistress absolute' but this may be a bit big headed :).

Hi all,

Thanks for chiming in.  Really great titles!  Conflict Jedi and Goddess and Mistress absolute?  Brilliant! Laugh

We usually use co-founder. If you were to incorporate, I'd assume you would use an official title like "president".

I've incorporated and use my blog for professional reasons so I had to go the "uncool" route of owner/founder.

Figure out what your blog is to you and that will determine what you are to your blog.

The neat thing is that you can essentially be whatever you want. If you treat your blog like a business – call yourself President. If it's merely an outlet for you or a hobby – be a writer. If you have several writers underneath you – Editor In Chief sounds awesome.

Thanks to Buck for starting this thread. Very interesting stuff.

I tell people I'm the editor of a blog. Or sometimes even the editor in chief. So far I'm the only one who writes on my site Smile.

My business cards say author/editor/blogger, but that's because they are for all of my writing, not just my blogs. I've never thought of using an official title for any of the blogs.

Back when I worked in print I was told my title was "Q-O-T-F-U" which stood for Queen of the "ahem" universe. Currently I go with creator, writer, editor, or owner. I like creator because then even if I move on I remain the creator, but it feels a little god complexy to me.

I say, "developer, creater, writer, photographer, and owner." I might add or delete some of those words depending on who's asking!
