Anyone know what's up over there? Stats have been stuck for at least a month.
They made a few changes, and it was down for a few days a few weeks ago. I know a few bloggers are connected to WiseBread, so I figured I'd ask around to see what's up.

I emailed them about that a month or so ago, and they wrote back:
Thanks for writing in and sorry about the data being missing. We're having some tech issues at the moment and the tech department is working on fixing it. Once done, I should be able to update your profile and it should update regularly again. Please be patient as we work this out. If anything else comes up, feel free to write again by replying to this email.
so whatever that means…

Got the same msg via twitter.
Thing is, these lists (money crashers too) are flawed in that if you suck at one stat or another and simply omit the source to that data you rank quite well. I remember I ranked much better before WB got my feed and twitter count (early on) then I fell 200 spots. Seems silly. If you don't provide that metric you should score bottom of the pile for that metric.

Interesting… I noticed that too. My stats on Wise Bread have been at a standstill for about 4 weeks. Thought it might have been because of some DNS issues that I had earlier this month. Glad to know that they are working on it though.

I wonder how many advertisers pay attention to that top blogs ranking list? Would be interested to get feedback.
Personally, while I like Wisebread, I find their rankings to be of minimal value. It seems convoluted as it is now, with the various factors that go into it. Frankly, I think they should have left it alone. Maybe it's because it favored many of us when it was based on Alexa:) ….but really, I rarely check it anymore. I might not have gone back to the list this calendar year.

If I were an advertiser looking to put up some ads, where would I go? Wisebread probably ranks at the top of Google for "top personal finance blogs" or something to that extent. I haven't heard any success stories yet, but I would imagine it would be a starting point.
I emailed the team there a few weeks ago because my profile page was broken (as in…not showing up at all), but so far no response.

I used to pay attention to this list, but I haven't in a few months since they never were able to work out the bugs. However, I'm sure that advertisers still use this list as a reference point.

Thats the thing… anytime a site with clout in the blogging world puts out a ranking list, it should really be accurate. If not, they should just take it down, or they do themselves and their visitors a disservice.

Sounds like it'll be up when it's up. ;)
Alexa is fun to check on every once in awhile, but Wisebread's list could be really cool if they would keep it updated..

I used to get decent traffic from Wisebread when I was in there top 100, but I dropped way down when they revamped their rankings.

I get some traffic from the top 100. Not a huge amount though.
