Hi again All,
I've finished the Yakezie.com members blog listing. I have them all in my left side bar and here's a page I have set up http://deliverawaydebt.com/yak…..e-listing/ I will watch for new members and update the twitter list and the blog list. I you would like to set up your own page, a quick way is to copy the list from the page/sidebar and paste into Word. The paste into wordpress using the "paste from word" icon in the editor and BAM your done. It only take me 8 months before I figure out you could do that :-)

Thanks a lot Jeff. I was painfully copying and pasting everyone who registered as a member in the forums :) Half way done and saw new members on the first page, I gave and postponed it… so I know this must have been awfully tedious. Thanks a LOT for doing it for us.

Hi Jeff, I hope I'm not out of line, but I was cutting and pasting your list and have some questions. I was wondering about some differences between your list and mine. I also found two little things you might want to look at. You have one heckof a list!
The two little mistakes are that in Personal Finance By the Book, "Personal" is spelled wrong. The Saved Quarter is also listed twice.
The differences between our lists (some of these I know are Yakezie members and some I'm not sure if we dropped because of no participation but they still post and have the badge):
- Blog Income Life
- Dividend Monk
- Divine & Debt Free
- Eliminate the Muda!
- Figuring Money Out
- First Gen American
- Girl with the Red Balloon
- How to Manage Money Tips (I can't check from work)
- Joe Tax Payer (can't check)
- My Financial Objectives
- My Personal Finance Journey (can't check)
- Peak Personal Finance
- Personal Finance Student (can't check)
- Single Guy Money (can't check)
- The Amateur Financier
- The Consumer Boomer
- The Debt Hawk (can't check)
Hope this helps! I know that I have an old list but at least a few of those are members still. :-)

Thanks for the typo info. Your list is correct as far as people in the yakezie. My list is for everyone registered here at Yakezie.com While many of the people you listed still have badges, they have not taken the time to sign up on the official site (here). Others have not posted in months. I will watch the site for new additions and make the corrections to the list as needed. IMO you need to be registered here to be a part of the group going forward. Maybe I'll take the time and send an email to our friends and get them to sign up and see if they are still interested. As FS stated at the beginning, we will be using the member posts as our official official sign up into the crew.

I thought that's how you made your list. I thought I had seen comments here from First Gen American, Consumer Boomer, and My Financial Objectives, but I could be thinking of the old group forums. Either way, thanks for taking a look! Great list! I had to cull over 20 people from my original list of more than 100 bloggers that just stopped posting – it seems odd to me to just give up without even a goodbye post…

Crystal,
I couldn't believe the number of people I had to cut from my list their, but I wish them well. As far as a good bye post, I bet some are still earning money so a final post would possible hurt that. Looks like Dividend Monk, JacQ, and 7 other people have joined. Off to update the list again :-)
Ps. does anyone else have to use a calculator to post a reply or comment??

No calculator here…just a little envelope icon on the bottom right. Thanks for taking control of the "official" list. I appreciate the amount of work that was and will be involved.

Thanks a lot, Jeff. I will update my yakezie list with this list.
I have to use the calculator to post a reply in the forums :) but not for commenting on the posts.

I was just kidding about the calculator part, it is simple math :-)
I'm watching the members list daily for any changes so the list will be update as people are added. I've also begun to capture all the other data people share, email, pp, alexa, pr, moz and I'm entering it in a spreadsheet so we can have all the data when needed.
I'm thinking of using my dropbox account to hold the list. I can post a link to it here and then only private members can view it. It will be updated the minute I update it. I could put it on my blog, but I worried about others having access to it plus up keep would suck. The benefit of using the dropbox is that everyone who has the address can see it and even bookmark it for future use.
Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on this issue??

Jeff, that would be great. I like using these forums as the official list because it's amazing how many people really don't participate even though they have the original badge. I figure it's their loss for not wanting to be with this great group of people!

I haven't used Dropbox yet, but this sounds like the perfect kind of thing for it. I'd like it! I don't have any suggestions since I have no experience with it, but I'm sure others will throw in their 2 cents. :-)

I like dropbox. You could try putting a password protected excel file? And set the password to yakezie or something that the yakezie members will remember? Will that work?

I think it's best to have the list be secure. If it was public, we'd get tons of spam. I mistakenly wrote my email address on my website and I still get spam from it months after taking it down.
I've never heard of dropbox, but it sounds perfect for this sort of thing.
