I just had to put a happy shout out to the Yakezie. We started on January 25th with a 2.3 million alexa ranking. Today (a mere two weeks later) we are alexa rank is 988,837, we have a PR2, and are super excited. Much love to everyone for their support.

Congrats Andi. It seems like many people are getting their Alexa ranking under 1M quite quickly with yakezie. When I launched my blog last Monday it was about 22M and is now under 1M about 9 days later. I do have the advantage of being able to commit a lot of hours to this though.

I would, but my roof is slippery, and I don't want to give my neighbors heart attacks (I don't live in a "youthful" area.) So I'll whisper it to the dog…..no reaction.

It also seems to be harder to get the major drops with non-pf blogs. I hovered right around 1,000,000 for three days, and I never saw a plateau at that high a number with my frugality blog.

My ranking dropped super fast when I joined Yakezie. It was joining really quickly before I joined, so I'm not too sure what to accredit Yakezie with, but I doubt it would be still steadily dropping without it!!! I dropped by 500,000+ in the past month or so :)

It's great, isn't it? There's nothing more fun during those early days than waking up and running to the computer to see if your Alexa has changed. Back then I was upset when I hadn't dropped at least 30k overnight.
….oh, the good old days….back in November.
