Anyone tried AdSense in Feeds? I have a large RSS base and therefore would like to try it. I'd appreciate hearing from people who have actually tried it (for better or for worse).

Cheers!

I've had it.  It didn't do well for me.

Had it, might still have it.  So little activity I can't recall.

Subscribers rarely click through Adsense – hence why people do SEO.

I have and am currently using it. The click through rate has been pretty bad though. To give you an idea I've had 8700 views and 3 clicks.

After looking at that I'm not even sure why I'm bothering my readers with it…

Thanks!  I think that sums it up very well :) Not worth bothering with…  Thanks much appreciated.

Ninja,

I have used it for a while now and am still currently using it. Like it was said before, the click through rate has been pretty bad though. I think that a lot of that is because it is positioned at the bottom of the feed and either gets ignored or simply skipped over if readers even make it that far. This brings up a great point, and I may drop it now too.

Also had kind of mixed results. It does well on one of my sites, but not both.

I tried it in my feeds a while ago and I don't think I got a single click. But since I don't have a lot of RSS subscribers, I may not be a good test case.

Guys, I'm wondering if you have your feed set for Summary or Full Text. If Summary, then ads placed at the end of the feed would be visible without scrolling, so may lead to higher click through. Could be the lack of clicks on feed ads is because few scroll to the end of a Full Text feed. Of course if you have your ad situated first, then never mind….

Thanks.
