I'd be happy to be a mentor. (And a mentee too, if someone with a massively successful blog wants to take me on…)

Cool idea. I could lend some tips as a mentor too. Like Justin said though, there are some kings and queens of blogging that know a lot more than me.

You know more than you give yourself credit for!

Thanks Eric. I still see myself as a little fish.

I would be a mentee. I think it would be tremendously helpful.

I like the idea (and I don't mean to be a party pooper), but how is it different than regular use of the forums (help desk, etc.)? Wouldn't be easier to have a group mentor/mentee relationship, where a new blogger isn't restricted to one person's opinion or experience?

There may be an aspect that I am missing though – if so, great..

Corey, I see where you are coming from but the point of this program is for new bloggers to get that extra they need or want but can't get in a group forum; kind of like tutoring or help after school. There are actually a number of benefits to one on one mentoring, especially if a person wants to develop a particular skills. Businesses use a mentoring model a lot.

Also, not everyone participating is part of Yakezie. There are non-PF mentors and mentees as well, and before you ask how that works, there are basic tenets to blogging that transcend niches.

Does that help!?

I'd be interested in being a mentee. I have just started a few months ago and have a ton to learn.

Yeah, that does help a little bit. I guess it is true that I learned a lot individually from several Yakezie's so it makes sense. Thanks Jana.

I'd love to be a mentee and get some advice/feedback from a seasoned blogger. Then it would be fun to come back as a mentor eventually!

Would be interested in being a mentee if spots are still open.

I'd also be interested in being a mentee. I just barely launched my blog, but I'm really enthusiastic about getting the momentum rolling and would love someone to help keep that momentum in-line with where it should be.

I would absolutely love to be a mentee if there is room. I feel like I am drowing in things I don't know. I'm not even sure I know how to use the forums correctly. I never seem to know what's going on!
