Having been blogging for over 5 years I've used a variety of tools along the way.  I recently just wrote this post 24 Tools To Grow Your Blog Traffic Through the Roof that shares many of the tools that I've used or all still using.

Curious what tools you all use that have proven helpful in your blogging journey?

Yikes, a lot of that stuff is expensive. Sounds like your operating expenses are at least a grand per month!

I'm looking for editors, beta-readers, and some demographic research for my upcoming novel, Once Upon a Saturn Moon. If you like reading soft sci-fi thrillers, maybe with a touch of romance thrown in, you can find more information at http://seampublishing.com/once…..aturn-moon

Well congratulations at operating at that level. I still have trouble imagining that amount of monthly income, let alone expenses.

The key thing to remember is that I was blogging for about 2+ years and making decent income on Adsense before I actually invested any money on my blog (other than hosting and a few design updates).  First major purchase was Market Samurai and then writers for the site.   I think bloggers can get a little too crazy in buying stuff they don't need at the beginning.

Jeff, Thank you for sharing. I am turning the corner as we speak and beginning to convert my blog from a hobby with benefits to a business: Wealth Media, LLC. (First public announcement here:) ).

These resources will be useful as I move along and will return to use your affiliate links when I need them.

I think I may use the tweet adder soon. That one seems quite straightforward with a nice ROI.

Market Samuai seems a bit confusing, I tried it before but think I just haven't put the necessary time to do the really important keyword research.

Thanks so much for the info.

Wow, what a resource. Thank you for compiling this. I don't really use ANY good blogging tools to help, especially anything pertaining to keyword research. I think the first thing I'm going to do on this list is switching to Genesis. I've already bought the framework, just need a theme :)

Bookmarking for future use!

Wow, such an extensive over-whelming list.  Where do I begin?  Someone should make a post on "X number of tools you'll need for beginners" and "X number of tools to use 6 months in / 1 year / 2 years and etc".  Just a wish from someone just starting out.
