I happened to come across this article about the CommentLuv plugin. It's a really great incentive to leave thoughtful comments and it provides an automatic link back to your feed. But you might not know that Feedburner could be stealing your linkbacks.

I fixed mine and my Alexa ranking finally started moving. Make sure you check it out for yourself. Just wanted to give a free tip to all of my fellow challengers. :)

Good find. Something is up with the link in the OP, but this blog covered it/the solutions in-depth as well http://blogswithwings.com/miss…..king-them/
I made the change and all future comments will have linkluv. Older comments still don't have it. :(
I'm still not entirely convinced that Google isn't discounting the SEO value of blog comments (even if do follow) but I'd like for the juice to flow if they aren't.

no idea why the link didn't work but I went to the site and clicked on the "blog" link and scrolled down to find this "fix".
Will this fix commentluv posts left previously or just those we leave going forward?

That's weird. The link worked a few day ago. But if you just google 'feedburner steals commentluv links' then there are several articles detailing how to fix it.
Glad it was of good use!

Nice tip, all those boxes were unchecked. However, from the example, the first one needed to be. Was I being negatively affected?  Item views I think it was called? I have now checked it.

Their forums are nuts.
Anyone know how to fix this issue? I changed my feedburner about 30 hours ago but my commentluv still shows feedproxy/google stuff.
