They say that slow and steady wins the race, and my blog is certainly an example of that. I joined Yakezie on January 7, 2011, my friends – almost 3 years ago! Happy Simple Living's Alexa ranking inched down to 225,000 a few times, but never quite got over the finish line.
There were times when I was really on a roll with blogging, and other times when I could only manage a few posts a month. Reading articles on Yakezie and connecting with other Yakezie bloggers helped me focus on the bigger picture, of writing the best content I could and doing what I could with the time I had.
I hope my example will inspire others who feel discouraged sometimes, to not give up and keep at it. Learn all you can from this group of pro bloggers, who are some of the most professional, generous people out there.
Thanks to all of you for hanging in there with me. Without your friendship and support, I don't think I would have reached this milestone.

Congrats! Thanks for sharing your example of persistence. Some of us struggle to hit that 200k mark (I definitely have) so it's nice to know you can still do it no matter how long it takes!
