FinCon 15: Should I get the "pro" pass? | Bloggers Lair | Yakezie Forums

Hi guys,

I'm seriously thinking about making the trip across from the UK this year to attend FinCon (especially as its in Charlotte where my brother currently lives).

I'm looking on the site and see that there is an option for a regular pass ($299) and a pro pass ($449). I'm leaning towards the pro, as its a long way to come not to maximise the experience, but before I book I was wondering if you guys who have been before have any advice on that…

Thanks for the advice Elle. I think I'm going to take the hit and make the trip out there.

The next major expense is accommodation as it seems that all the reasonably priced options in the Westin are long gone.

Does anyone who doesn't already have accommodation fancy getting a 3 bedroom appartment on Airbnb. It seems like we could get somewhere for about the same price as the cheapest rooms left but split between 3 (or 4 if there are any couples who fancy it)? Could you also pass onto anyone else who you think may be interested?
