Hi everyone,

I'm trying to create subcategory dropdown menus for Wordpress. I have a menu in my header section, but I want people to be able to rollover the text and see subcategories. Any idea how to do this?

Hi Sam,

You should be able to create submenus by dragging the menu items under the parent items, then over to the right a little. Like this:

Maybe it's something to do with my theme, because I tried moving categories over like that. :/

It could be your theme.  I've experimented with many different free themes and not all of them have the rollover feature you describe.

In your dashboard, look under Pagelines > Site Options > Header and Footer to make sure the box is checked to enable dropdown navigation.

You did it! The menus are now showing the dropdowns. :)

Can't believe you were able to solve it so easily.

 

The new menu is doing some weird CSS color variations now, but I like the subcategory dropdown effect.
