Welcome back to blogging Brad!  I know EOD- that's cool that you were involved with that site.  I'm a newbie- blogging since October- but I really love it and have had a great time meeting new people and becoming immersed in the PF community.  You should add Beyond Debt Freedom to Bloglovin so I can follow you there.

Hi everyone! My name is Brad Chaffee and I recently started a new blog called Beyond Debt Freedom. Some of you know me from my first blog Enemy of Debt. 

In 2012 I stepped aside from the management of EOD and stopped writing completely. Many of you know Travis Pizel, my good friend, who has continued to write for EOD. This happened for a couple of reasons but one was because I was also running a year old printing company I was struggling to juggle along with being a stay at home dad to three little ones age 6, 3, & 1.

After being away for over a year I realized I still had a lot to say about debt freedom and a lot more to accomplish as far as my own financial goals beyond our becoming debt freedom in 2009, so the blog was born and here I am.

I think this blog network is great and I look forward to getting to know those I don't know and reconnecting with those of you I do know.

No I closed down the printing company for a few different reasons. Ultimately I decided that particular business wasn't for me though I did enjoy the ability to print my own merchandise. haha! 

The new blog was literally created the Friday before I published my first post. I definitely missed writing and interacting with all of the great bloggers I had come to know over the years. Missing Fincon13 was a bummer too, but I will be at FinCon14 in New Orleans for sure! :D
