You read it right you know you want a new logo, where do you go to find a good one. Well I turned to Craigslist and I was pleasantly surprised at how great mine turned out. Take a look and if you are interested there is a link in todays post to contact the designer. He does many other areas of wordpress and website work as well!!

i like the shaded quarter logo quite a bit.
nicely done.
we're still aiming to get ours done in the weeks and months to come..
i just can't bring myself to sink any money into it before we get a PR/MozRank…

The last line would lead me to ask if you'd rather have all of the aesthetics in place so that when the traffic does start rolling in, the viewers are greeted by a "finished" product (in your mind) rather than a work in progress. The branding and layout is sometimes just as important as the content, and you don't want to make a bad first impression with new readers.

Thanks for all the positive feedback. I really love it.
I agree with eric, i am trying to get as close to a finished product as I can for when I really start to bring in significant traffic. Then I will not want to change things around with new logos and potentially alienate some of the new found readers with changes to the site.
It is worth even sending the dude an email see what he has got!!

I also do logo work, I created the logo on my site and can fabricate pretty much whatever you want. Send me a PM if you are interested.
This That and an MBA: Your logo does look great, I like how you are trying to optimize your site before you start getting significant traffic, smart plan.
