Hi, all! I am ready to begin the Yakezie challenge, although I am not yet able to report my Alexa ranking (still being certified). I have a major passion for personal finance and a unique perspective on ways to get ahead financially. I spent over 6 years of my life working as an expat for the world's largest Engineering & Construction company and have since left the Middle East, returned to the U.S. and formed http://www.misfitmoney.com with a close friend.

I hope you enjoy the site and content, and any feedback is always welcomed!

Hi Ben and welcome to Yakezie!

I visited your site and I like the design, nice and clean.  You've got a lot going on on your homepage!  You may want to consider going with a 2 column homepage rather than 3 columns.  It may help the reader find the content he/she is looking for.

Best,

Paul

I went to leave you a comment but could not, because the related articles menu was dropping into the comment form. This is in Chrome, BTW.

Thanks, Annie! I was actually working on the structure of the site today, and happened to be working on that area, go figure! Can you check again and see if you still run into that issue? I think it should be ok now. Thanks, any comments are much appreciated!

Welcome Ben!  Sounds like you have a fascinating background.  Looking forward to reading!  BTW, I love the way you introduce your About Me Page with a link that says, "Who are the Misfits?"  :-)

Ben, for someone that is just starting out, your site looks great (and more importantly, seems to be filled with great content). Best of luck to you in the challenge. I look forward to following your progress.
