I visited your site and I like the design, nice and clean.  You've got a lot going on on your homepage!  You may want to consider going with a 2 column homepage rather than 3 columns.  It may help the reader find the content he/she is looking for.

Thanks, Annie! I was actually working on the structure of the site today, and happened to be working on that area, go figure! Can you check again and see if you still run into that issue? I think it should be ok now. Thanks, any comments are much appreciated!

Welcome Ben!  Sounds like you have a fascinating background.  Looking forward to reading!  BTW, I love the way you introduce your About Me Page with a link that says, "Who are the Misfits?"  :-)
