Today, my writing partner and I launched our new niche site, Meal Plan Rescue. It's a service that delivers a weekly meal plan and shopping list based on in-season produce and/or what's on sale to your e-mail inbox each week.

Honestly, I'm more excited about this project then I've been about anything in a while. If you guys wouldn't mind checking out my site and telling me if you have any thoughts. Also, if anyone wants to try it for a couple of weeks, just let me know and we'll take care of it.

Thanks again!

I like it a lot! I will try to link to it from my Foodthology site. Love the idea!

That's really cool! Are the meal ideas based on what's good economically as well?! That would be a clever twist!

Thank you everyone for your encouragement! We got our first paying customer within an hour of launch so now we just have to worry about the next myriad. :)

@Aloysa: I'm very glad to see you writing again. I checked out foodthology and think it's great! If you ever need a guest post, let me know.

@Sandy: Thank you!

@Jacob: Yes, economical is a huge deal for us (and we probably need to emphasize that more on the front page of the website). Seasonal produce is always less expensive due to its abundance, but above that, we already have a meal plan based on the Safeway/Vons sales fliers and we hope to continue that trend.

@Crystal: I'm glad you're impressed. Its still a work in progress, so if there's anything you discover that you need, please pass it on. We will be including a printer-friendly link for the shopping lists in the next couple weeks.

Thanks again!

First impression: Very nice look and layout. Looks like a blog, but more professional, and I think that's what you're going for.
