RSS Feeds and Link Building

To help kick-start my link building efforts, I've started to submit my blog to some blog directories.  When I'm done that I will probably move onto rss feed directories.  Does anyone know if that is still a worthwhile link building activity in the post-panda Google?  I was always paranoid that it might be a bad idea to have that rss feed displayed on other sites as it results in duplicate content.

If it is still good use of my time, can someone recommend a good list of rss feed directories to submit to?  Please and thank you :)

Submitting to carnivals is a good way to build links. You should check out blogcarnivalhq.com

Thanks LaTisha.  I will have to look into that once I build up some better posts that deserve some sharing.  Do you only submit your very best posts to blog carnivals?  Or do you put any decent ones out there in case people are interested?

I actually have Corey from 20s Finances submit to carnivals for me. He picks my latest posts and submits them to about 8 a week for a very reasonable monthly fee.

Ok I will have to add that to my list of things to jump onto next week.  It sounds like it would be a good source of exposure.

La Tisha, I would be interested in having Cory do this for me as well. Can you please let him know to email me directly? Thanks :) !

I also use Corey for submitting to blog carnivals.  1 less thing I have to do and he's worth the fee.
