After all the positive feedback I received on my new site, I decided to update my theme on The College Investor as well.

I would love to hear your thoughts, comments, concerns, etc.  The more browsers and people who check it out and comment, the better.  I know I can't please everyone, but would love the input!

Thanks!

I like it! Simple and clean, with a little dash of color here and there. I'm thinking about changing mine a little in the future. I think it's a little to 'cold'.

I really like it! However, when I open the site in Chrome, the Mint.com banner is taking up like the entire page! haha Might be a glitch…

In Firefox, it looks perfect though..Weird.

Nice clean and crisp!  May be it is just me, but feels faster than the old theme!

It does feel faster.  I've heard the more integration you have with your theme, the less plugins you need, which increases speed?  This has a lot of features built in, like SEO, etc.

It looks the same?  There is no more brown…it is clean white/grey/black.  Maybe you should refresh cause your displaying it from your cache?

like:

- clean design

- "you are new here" section at the top

- not many ads

could be improved:

- having a logo for college investor (it could help branding your site)

- using an investing ad instead of mint (after all, your name is College INVESTOR, right?)

- change "sponsor" for a "softer word" such as "supporters" or "financial resources"

I really like it overall!

The mint ad is seriously skewed in Chrome.

Thanks for the tips!  My logo is actually being designed right now and should be up on Monday.

I also learned that Google Chrome doesn't like percentages for image height and width.  Problem should be fixed now Jason.  Thanks!

I like the colors but like TFB think you should get a logo.

I like the look, but a logo would definitely help with branding.

It loads very fast for me – using Firefox!

I'd add an image or something. Have you tried with a capital "t" for The College Investor?
