As you may know, I run the Totally Money Blog Carnival. This thread will be for all submission reminders and updates. :-)
Today is just a reminder that you can submit here every week. Please email me at budgetingfunstuff *at* gmail *dot* com or use this contact page if you'd like to host.
Thank you so much to Jason at Live Real, Now for signing up to be the first ever outside host on February 7th! I truly appreciate it! I'd also like to thank My Personal Finance Journey, The Saved Quarter, and Funny About Money for signing up too!!! I still have hosting openings for February 14, 21, and 28 for anybody who'd like to help out soon!
Please let me know if you ever run into any issues when submitting or checking out the site!

Can someone fill me in on the concept of a blog carnival?
I take it that everyone writes about a common theme for X number of –ahhh, I see, just read the post on your page. That's a great idea for deeplinking!

Yep, as you probably read, it's a simple way to promote posts you've already written and exchange links. I also try to make them fun so people will come back for more. :-)

In other news, I need more hosts for Totally Money from March 21st and on. This is a great opportunity to host a popular carnival (even Free Money Finance has submitted now!!!). Hosts also get multiple links on totallymoneyblogcarnival.com and a couple of links on budgetinginthefunstuff.com. BFS now has an Alexa below 36,000, a Moz 5.02, and a PR3, so the links are worth something. :-)
Also, I send out a very thorough email the week before you host, so this isn't a carnival that you have to churn out by the seat of your pants. You can obviously email me with any questions as well.

Crystal does a good job running the carnival. If you've never hosted a carnival, this is a great one to get your feet wet. If you have done it before, the extra traffic and links are always nice.

I'm fine to host whenever. March 21st works, or if you would prefer to wait before assigning a week (my blog will be 60 days old on March 21st – one month less than the rules) that's fine too.
As for quitting in the next 6 months…I'm not going anywhere. This blog is my fun little get-away. :)
