Hi, Crystal.  I submit to carnivals for frugalliving.com.au and walletwatcher.com.au, and I can agree with you that they are decent quality articles.  A few have even been accepted to the Best of Money Carnival.  Either one of those sites could guest post on my blog. And of course, your comments on behalf of them would be welcome at Mom's Plans or Dining Out Challenge.  How much time do you put into commenting for them weekly?

20 hours a week combined of commenting, tweeting, facebooking, and guest post placement. Laugh  This was the 20 hour a week job I was offered while we were Vegas that nudged me into quitting my day job earlier than expected.  I may only work with them for a couple of months, but we'll see.  Either way, it's a learning experience and it is nice to have the extra income when I am first starting out on my own.

Hey!

Peerform is about to launch a personal finance blog (Blog.peerform.com) and I will be eternally grateful if you add it to your list. (We had a blog called Peerforming, but stopped working on it to start a new one as a subdomain of our main page)

We will be more than happy to accept guest posts when our blog launches (you may want to wait until we have a decent Alexa/Compete rank, but I think we will get big quickly) (contact to guest post: james dot leung at peerform dot com)

Thanks!

Just let me know when it launches and I'll add it to the rotation!

As for guest posts, do these sites make money? It seems that it would be a sponsored guest post? Or are they bloggers like you and I?

Thanks!

None of them are monetized yet with more than Adsense, and I'm not even sure they have that up yet.  Their ultimate goal is to make money like we do eventually, with Adsense, affiliate marketing, and direct ads based on what they've told me.  They are a group of people (I only know Jonathan, Lisa, and Sophie) that started up a ton of blogs to grow.  So it is a gray area – they are bloggers and business people.  But I do not get a budget at all for guest posts or commissions or anything like that when they are placed.  I am paid in advance for 20 hours of my time and am their networker with other bloggers.  They have me, paid writers, paid editors and paid blog managers, but they are all real blogs.  Your classification guess is as good as mine, lol.

Thank you everybody!  I have all of your url's and will be starting my rounds officially on Monday (but you may see me before then if I have time this weekend, lol).

As for everyone who volunteered to accept guest posts, I will be contacting you individually over the next week or two!  Thank you double!

As those guest posts start going up (on my sites too), I'll link to them here so you all can see if they would be a good idea for you or not too.  I figure they could be perfect for all of us bloggers that need vacation posts!  Writers at your disposal for whatever topics you want for your site…woot!

In the meantime, everyone else feel free to continue signing up!  I'll be using this thread for all of my Australian pf networking business for the foreseeable future.  Laugh
