I used to get notified every time I got a comment. Now I don't. I have the option selected to be notified in the "discussion" section of the dashboard. Any solutions to get notified when someone comments?

Did you do any updates or changes when this occurred? If not, then I would reach out to your web host. It could have been a change on their end.

HI Debt, thanks for weighing in. It happened a long time ago and I'm just getting around to dealing with it.
I think I did have changes, but I can't remember what they were. Maybe I'll ping godaddy.

I would reach out to them to see if they can pinpoint it. It can't hurt.

There should be a setting for this in your wordpress user profile. Double check you have your email preferences set to "Accept to receive post or page notification emails" and that you have your current email address in the profile.
Hope that helps!

Thanks Sydney,
I doubled checked my dashboard and I looked at the notification box and it is checked! Thanks for your help, I'm still trying to uncover this mystery :)

Your hosting company may be able to quickly solve it for you. It might be a PHP > email issue somewhere in how your server processes requests.
