Hi there
I was just wondering about the Yakezie challenge. Is a person done once they have completed six months or when they reach 200,000 on their Alexa rank or less? I am asking because I have just passed the six month mark. I joined the challenge on June 10, 2010 and at that time my Alexa rank was 1, 722, 015. Six months later my rank is now 395,515. I have improved a lot thanks to the help from all of you.
Is it time for me to write a member post and be officially part of the network or do I have to wait until I reach 200,000?

According to this http://yakezie.com/yakezie-net…..guidelines you need to either:
1) Post at least 2-4 times a week on your blog for 6 full months after joining the challenge and putting up your badge.
OR
2) Hit your goal, which is 200,000 if you were over 200,000, 100,000 if you were under 200,000, or 50,000 if you were already under 100,000.
If you hit either one of these marks, email the Yakezie (Sam) to post your member post. Then you're in! :-)

Sam told me that new member posts will start going up in Feb 2011. I think that is when we officially become members.

I'm confused … I didn't think there was any set time for a person to become part of the network. I thought you could join the challenge at any time and then complete it whenever you meet the criteria. Is that not the case?
Or are you just saying that they are going to be doing a batch update to the blog network list at that time?

Hey Saving Mentor, you can join anytime but entry into the network is happening in waves to keep track. February will be the next wave of member posts for people who made the challenge.

It's pretty much just a general story of how you got into blogging and joined the Yakezie. I don't know how you schedule to upload it (probably contact Sam), but uploading it is just like adding it to any Wordpress site. :-)

I have read many of the member posts. You just need to write one before you are accepted as a full member of Yakezie. I'm sure Sam will let you know some guidelines of what you should include in the post at the time!
