I know it's a PITA to write up an email to everyone after working diligently on a carnival, but it's probably the best way to make sure people know they were included.

 

When I've sent out carnival emails for times I've hosted I'll also mention a reminder to link back and try to include some links where people can vote the articles up (Tip'd, FWISP, etc…).

This makes it easier for the site to act.

You (and both Jason and Suba from earlier posts) are right. 

I'll add an email field to the form, that way the host can just copy the email fields in one copy and send them all out at once.  Nice and easy…

The reminder is a great idea!  Email reminders are a great way to get higher involvement and is a great courtesy!  For each host that runs the Carnival, I send an email out on Monday or Tuesday.  I think it helps alot, and I'm sure email to the participant helps too…

 

I just finished adding an email field to the form so next week we'll be good to go!
