I did Pampered Chef, too, and would go back to it if their social media and internet rules weren't so draconian. They don't allow live links to your own sales site (they do, but they expire in 2 hours!!!) and when I was there, you couldn't even mention that you were affiliated with PC on Facebook or the like. It's solely that that kept me from going back to it when the blog started taking off. I would recommend products I like and use (like I already do on amazon.com) but they won't let me.

I had some trouble getting honest information from the directors, too, who were not at all internet savvy and didn't understand why this was an issue. They had a "don't question home office" attitude, and I just don't work that way. If it's MY business, as they claim over and over, I'd like to have the option of advertising it how I want!

For those who don't care as much about internet presence, I think it's a good company and I love the products. I had no trouble making money at shows, but I put in a lot of time on the back end putting together flyers, getting things together for parties, etc. The party itself only took a few hours, but my hourly wage wasn't fantastic once I added in the back end stuff. And I suck at recruiting.
