Since a lot of blogging is motivation and drive (and the Beta Chapter is officially closed), let's hear some success stories, updates, and more about the people in this challenge together. Share your progress, cheer each other on, keep the conversation going, and get motivated to see  your goals accomplished.

I am blown away with the Yakezie network. I know these numbers and the increase in Twitter followers is because of you people. Thank you for the support, RTs, visits, backlines. Let's keep it going.

Being in the real estate investing niche is very crowded and cost of advertising can be lucrative if the media outlet or blog has a good following and the stats to back it up. I now realize that cracking the 200K market, then the 100K mark and beyond will bold well when requesting higher amounts for advertising on my site. 

We long for the day when we can move from adsense and go straight ad supported site that is earning enough to sustain my lifestyle…I can invest from there.

I'm still getting my bearings in the yakezie network, figuring out the best way to support the network. The interviews provided have been great and it's very exciting to meet the new people. I was down to 1.28 million and 98,000 US, but then we creeped back up again. I'm trying not to check it every day because I know I'll start focusing on the numbers over the blog and the audience….but it's so hard not to!

I am guilty of checking the numbers. I have always been obsessed with analytics. Need to step away from that. 

Anyway, wanted to share somethings that have worked for me so far. The promoting people is big and it sounds like you got that down with the blog round up and the RTs on twitter. Keep them going. But don't forget to post comments and links to your blog as well. This gives the people in the network time to see you on twitter, give them something to promote for you, and allow them to visit your site for comments. I am scheduling tweets throughout the day and being overall way more involved with my social media outlets.

Also, I have really started social bookmarking my sites. I don't get much action from Digg, although I still use it, but sites like Reddit, Stumble Upon and Yahoo Buzz seem to be working. I am still testing Mixx, but haven't really seen any results.

Joined the challenge on Sept 29 while running a free wordpress blog. Started at 2.5 MM. Made it to 700K when decided that maybe it is a good idea to switch to a self-hosted website. Did that a week ago and hey, my Alexa ranking became 15MM. A week later it is 1.3 MM and dropping! It sucked to start from the begining at the end it is all worth it. Yakezie power is unbelievable!
