Wow after 2 or 3 months of getting penalized by the big G, I got my original PR back! Was getting kind of discouraging when I got the blow but glad it's back. Anyone else got back their PR?

Good news.  I stuck at status quo and am just hoping that continues for me :)

Did you do the request for reconsideration?

I have the same question as Invest it Wisely. Was it automatic? That is encouraging for those who got the hammer.

What did you change on your site?

Yeah I did the request and got a reply saying "Manual Spam Action Revoked"

Just checked, they lowered it back to 2 ;(

Congrats on getting your PR back, even if it's a 2 and not a 3.

How long did it take from the time you did the reconsideration requests? Also curious what you said in the message and what you changed. ;)

Thanks!

It took like 3 weeks I believe. I actually requested 2 times. They denied me the first time because I didn't really fix anything. Basically I knew what I was doing wrong with some of the links and told them everything I did, just being honest with them.

Congratulation! So did you fix the links when you requested the 2nd review? I'll wait until the links expired at the end of the year before I send in a 2nd request.
