How can we network on Technorati | Yakezie Reader Insights | Yakezie Forums

To be honest, I am not sure how much weight Technorati still carries in the marketplace, but it seems to still be measured by those ranking websites and blogs in the marketplace. And if our blogs are going to be ranked by these metrics, we may as well maximize them.

Even more honest, I don't k now how to gain authority on Technorati or even know if it matters. What I do know is that I have an account, bet many of you do as well, and we can get connected.

Is there a way to vote/rate/promote each other via this network?

I had an authority of 129 until I realized (thanks to Andrew at Money Crashers) that I had somehow signed up as a certain page instead of a whole site, lol.  Now I'm back to square one with a "1".  :-)

I use to have an authority of close to 200 but since then Technorati has changed how the score.  I now have a rating of 1 and it should be much higher.  I have read they have been having big problems getting everyone's ratings updated so I am not sure how relavent they are anymore.

 

Has anyone else heard the same?

My Technorati score has tanked also.  My overall rank hasn't really changed, but I used to have a Finance score of 600+ and now it is 1.  I have no idea what has happened.

That's really odd. I have to believe that it's just a temporary glitch in their system. Your overall score is still high, and I know people have been linking to your site a lot (including me)!
