Hey all,

Recently I saw a handful of us get picked up from different outlets.  That is totally cool! Cool  But I did wonder, what about me?!?! Yell

I got an email from Coinstar's social media specialist saying they liked my post about them.

They shared it on their Facebook page and I did see a nice spike in traffic.  So keep on writing great content, you don't know who's watching. Laugh

Interesting.  I went at GRS about his calling this service a rip off.  It's a service.  Just like paying for restaurant food (that you can cook cheaper at home but choose the service and convenience).

JD didn't agree but I really don't care.  All businesses provide a service that some will find value in, others will not.  I don't want to count and roll jars of pennies.  My time is worth more than the 10% or whatever this service takes.

Are there banks that won't roll your coins for you if you have an account?  I've never had an issue and it's always been free.

I recently wrote an article advising against Coinstar, lol they probably won't be contacting me! I did read your article, well thought out and well written.  I still think there are some other options to Coinstar, but congrats on getting noticed! We all value different services, it's nice to see you get recognized.

SPF,

Good point about time.  Lately, time is becoming more and more precious.

Jason,

I think most banks would help their own customers.  I was just surprised that I was cast out when I didn't have an account with the bank.

Barb,

Thanks! Smile

MoneyIsTheRoot,

Thanks!  Would like to see your post against Coinstar.  That would be interesting. Cool
