Hi all,

I'm new to the whole Finance blogging zone and looking to meet new people who know how it all works. I'm looking to meet and exchange ideas those who don't take the whole topic SO seriously like SO many bloggers do, but more to those who are looking to help 'joe bloggs' learn the basics in a different way.

I've got a new series which will start running on 1st March, which is aimed at eradicating all those stuffy and elitist ways that have been around for years that unfortunately aim towards only helping the educated masses to understand finance, when, if you actually look at things, its not those people that need educating, its the more average person.

In order to help this demographic understand finance in a more free, easy to understand and down to earth way, i've delved to the bottom of society to explain financial matters, this way the whole world will be able to understand finance in a more comedy and light hearted way…I believe it their right.

No fancy graphs, diagrams or statistics, just down to earth basic facts.

Check out my site on 1st of the march for an annual series of 'Finance for all' which I will be running twice per month from now until the foreseeable….

Think snotty finance newspapers, and go the exact other way, thats where i'm going…Yell

Sounds interesting. Remind me when you're up. I call myself a "personal finance contrarian" because I don't agree with everything the establishment says on the topic either.

I'm looking for editors, beta-readers, and some demographic research for my upcoming novel, Once Upon a Saturn Moon. If you like reading soft sci-fi thrillers, maybe with a touch of romance thrown in, you can find more information at http://seampublishing.com/once…..aturn-moon

So you are aiming to create The Sun of personal finance? Interesting. It seems to me that this is worth doing but carries risks one of which is that it is easier to 'capture' people with pictures and graphs (but good ones) than with words.

Keep me posted anyway.
