I think some of the things he wrote about started to feel spammy to me.  And there's so much good info out there to read anyway, I had to cut back.

However, you made 2 majors mistakes:

- you didn't include a link toward one of your article in this post (something catchy) so readers would click on it to read more

- you didn't include a RSS link to your site in your author bio

a) my homepage

b) the original article that was published on DGB

c) the list of best REITs ETF for 2011 (a link that I have mention in the post that was publish on seekingalpha).

FP, I've been following your posts with a lot of interest lately and have to say, your nuggets of wisdom are one of the best I've come across (for those who are listening).
 

Looking forward to more of your posts!  (Sorry Buck for hijacking this thread, but I'm sure you'll admit, this is fantastic advice!)

Thanks!    Terrific advice.  I should have prepared a bit more…  Live and learn.  After my blog swap with Evan, I noticed his RSS and Twitter links, but didn't think to add mine into my guest post.  Doh!   To be honest, I was half expecting John Chow to ignore my guest post request.  Silly me. 

Awesome tip about including a linkback.  Thanks for sharing.  I guess I was being too conservative.  Half of me was thinking too many self promotional links to my site would get rejected…  A great experience overall and even better lessons learned.
