I'm ecstatic to announce that I have broken the 100,000 Alexa barrier. I have a big thanks to al of the Yakezie for your help and making this possible. I started FinanciallyPoor.com April 3rd of this year and joined the Yakezie on May 21st with a ranking of 1,059,759. I changed my goal several times because I kept breaking them.

My main point of this post was to tell you what you can look forward to in a very short time. Granted it isn't a guarantee and it does take hard work, but it is possible. Remember to not sell yourself short and anything is possible.

I'd also like to throw myself out there and say that if you need any type of help or have any questions feel free to contact me. My email is Kevin at FinanciallyPoor.com.

Thank You Yakezie

Congrats Kevin!  I know how it feels and am amazed myself.  :-)  If I actually make my current goal of 50,000 by October 31st, I think it'll me maintenance from there and I'll start traffic goals, lol.  I'm so glad you broke 100,000!  Good luck for your next target!

I honestly don't know what part of what I do works the best for my Alexa ranking.  I post daily, comment on 15-25 blogs a week, submit to blog carnivals every week or two, guest post every few weeks, try to read every post here, have a weekly roundup, and have an Alexa update every Sunday.

I'm also doing a blog stats and income update at the beginning of every month starting in November (but that obviously hasn't helped since I haven't started yet, lol).

I don't know which part helps the most though, sorry.  I'd say getting well known with the other awesome Yakezie members would probably be the most important since we all have the toolbars for sure.  :-)

Congrats, Kevin! (how weird it feels to be calling someone else by my own name) I also broke the 100,000 barrier recently, but I'm not celebrating until I've been below it for a while! In a way it feels too good to be true!

I know what you mean, I'm stuck at 98,000 and I won't be able to tend to my blog next week so I'm expecting to go back over 100,000. But I'll be back down again

Congrats Kevin!  I am curious what other side effects you are seeing because of your improved Alexa ranking?  Obviously I would assume you are getting more traffic to your site than back in the spring.  What other kinds of impacts is the better ranking having on your site?

A lot more offers for advertising for sure, more comments, more traffic (like you said), and just the confidence boost knowing that I'm actually making it and this is a viable option for a lot of future income.

Congratulations Kevin!

Do you want a guest post for next week from me since you can't tend to your blog?  I could send you something this weekend.  If you have posts scheduled, I will continue to promote them!

Just let me know.
