I'm in! I joined the Alexa challenge today. My current Alexa ranking is 485,577, and I've been blogging for about 6 months now. My blog is Small Business Dreams, which is focused on Entrepreneurship & personal finance, and here is my Yakezie Challanger post.

I joined the Yakezie challenge today October 7, 2010 and my Alexa rank is currently 11,656,453 so Ive got some serious work to do.

Welcome, when I first started the challenge I had no idea how fast I would move up the rankings. If you promote well, you'll beat your goal well before the 6 months. I never did any guest posting and Im almost at 100,000 and my blog just turned 6 months old. So what I'm trying to say is get out on the social networks and promote your posts and we'll do what we can to move you up in the rankings.
That's about where I started too! After a week and a half I'm already down to about 2 million. Still a long ways to go :)

It's been a long time coming. I should've joined the Yakezie Challenge a year ago.
Well, I'm here now. I've been blogging off and on going on 2 years now. After some serious reflection and time management / productivity self education, I'm back on! Boy, have I missed it.
Oh, my current Alexa traffic rank is 980,200. Just in the past couple weeks, it's gone down about 450,000. That's not too bad, but it good be soooo much better.

Whew… it has taken since November but I'm finally able to post my intro post on this forum! I have no idea why I has having such issues with creating a log-in for this forum. =)
When I first started and made my annoucement post by rank was 1,672,589. As of today it is now 565,504. Quite an improvement!

The site looks great. One thing you may want to consider is moving your RSS icon, and social media icons, closer to the top of your home page. Like right below your navigation bar. People expect them to be there, so it makes it easier for your readers to find them. The space where you have the "Play Now" and "Download" buttons may be better utilized with an email subscription form. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the advice. I will try to rearrange some things to see how it looks.
Are there any email subscription forms that you suggest? I think there is an option with feed burner but I don't know much about it.

Don't bother with Feedburner's email subscribe. Get a real subscription service. GetResponse and MailChimp both have free options. I'm using MailChimp's and am happy to do so.
