Hey everyone,

I am excited to announce that I am joining the challenge today. I am taking many bold steps today, check out the blog to see what I mean. My blog is exploring the relationship between personal finance and weight management, how I am tackling both issues and tips and tricks along the way. So 3 months ago, I joined the challenge as Baking the Budget. Now, with an Alexa rating of under 240k, I'm switching everything up. I've moved my blog from blogger to my own domain and changed the name of my blog to The Dog Ate My Wallet – Personal Finance in a World Full of Excuses.

I always felt that with the title Baking the Budget, I should post more about baking, or cooking, or at least food, and I didn't nor was I going to start.

My blog is going to remain general personal finance, but I'm going to talk more about the excuses we make to ourselves about not doing what we know we should. There will also be a bit more focus on the finances surrounding pet ownership.

Anyway, just thought I'd reintroduce myself with the new blog.

As a note, the look of the blog will be changing a bit over the next few days, but I'm excited to have it up and running

Good evening, peeps. I have just joined the Challenge – after agonising over the decision for some time now I have decided that it is time.

Probably need to brush up on my technical skills first – didn't manage to figure out how to set up my signiture. May be a blessing in disguise, though.

I am Maria and the problem with 'Maria's is that we can never be 'the Maria'; so I would like to be known as maria@moneyprinciple. My blog – The Money Principle – needs some attention although today I had a rather interesting surprise. It was ranked higher (much higher) than I expected – it is ranked 704,321 globally. I want to get in below 200,000 within six months.

Nice to meet you and take care.

Well, Maria is just another way to say 'Mary', 'Miriam' etc. and usually she is Mary Josef mother of Jesus. Don't stand a chance! Even if this argument doesn't wash off there are so many Marias that beiong known only by your first name (like Madona etc.) is not onLaugh.

Hi Maria, welcome to the challenge. How's your American English writing? I grew up with the Queens English in Australia and still slip up here occasionally. The Internet is vast!
